I loved everything about Alhambra, I knew it was going to be full of colour and detail so I thought I’d try to match accordingly, so this floral off the shoulder top was perfect.
We took a road trip up to Granada during our stay in Spain, in particular to see Alhambra but also Granada, which is beautiful (separate blog post to follow soon). BUT I have to confess I caught a bug on the morning we were leaving and so spent the whole three hour car journey struggling in silence… I didn’t want to admit I was ill, you know mind over matter, but I couldn’t deny it any longer when we arrived and so I spent the whole day in bed. ANYWAY, I managed to muster up the strength the next morning and head up to Alhambra, and although I felt really weak I am so glad I went.
It was more beautiful than I imagined, and you could easily spend a full day there just sitting on a wall and taking in the views.
I knew it would be scorchingly hot so needed a light and airy outfit, I chose not to wear anything dark to attract even more heat (although not sure if that is a myth of not) But my cream denim skirt and this colourful off the shoulder top were the perfect combo. I particularly love the blue floral pattern in this top, it really stands out.
Of course, my super comfy braided sandals, which go with every outfit, were the perfect choice of footwear for exploring but still looking chic.
